Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) | Up to $2,700/Week | Bismarck, ND

Pay Package:

Travel: Up to $2,700/week (includes tax-free stipends for eligible travelers)
Taxable Hourly Rate: Up to $40/hour
Weekly Tax-Free Stipends: Up to $1,080/week (for eligible travelers)
Local Candidates: Not Accepted (Must reside more than 80 miles from the facility)

Travel Labor & Delivery RN Opportunity – Bismarck, North Dakota

We're seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Bismarck, North Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Women's Services team caring for labor & delivery, postpartum, gynecology, and newborn patients in a busy acute care hospital.

This position is ideal for experienced L&D nurses who are confident caring for high-risk obstetric patients and are comfortable floating to postpartum, newborn nursery, and NICU as needed.

Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Bismarck, ND
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,700/week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
Shift: Primarily Nights (with occasional Day shifts)
Weekend Requirement: Required
Floating: Newborn Nursery & NICU (Helping Hands)
Charting: Epic & OBIX
Scrubs: Navy Blue (Hospital scrubs provided for Labor & Delivery)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
Care for high-risk obstetrical patients throughout labor and delivery
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring
Assist physicians during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns
Care for gynecology post-operative patients
Float to Newborn Nursery and NICU in a helping hands capacity when needed
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Educate patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
Document patient care accurately using Epic and OBIX

Minimum Qualifications

Active RN License
Current BLS (AHA)
Current ACLS
Current NRP Certification
Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Experience with:
Labor & Delivery
Mother/Baby
Postpartum
Gynecology
Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Comfortable caring for high-risk OB patients
Willing to work primarily nights with occasional day shifts
Willing to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU
