Full Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Molder to join our foundry team. This hands-on role is essential to the metal casting process, including molding, coremaking, assembly, and pouring molten aluminum. You'll be responsible for preparing molds, assembling components, pouring metal safely, and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, follows safety procedures, and is comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate molding equipment
Assemble molds and cores based on job specifications and blueprints
Safely pour molten aluminum into molds using proper equipment and PPE
Inspect molds and cores for defects
Disassemble molds after casting and assist with cleanup and shakeout
Keep your work area organized and follow all safety and environmental guidelines
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Follow written job procedures and Work Instructionsto meet quality and safety standards
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and process flow

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma or GED required
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment preferred
Basic math, reading, and measurement skills
Ability to read and follow written instructions and job-specific procedures
Strong attention to detail and safety
Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs, wear PPE, and work in a foundry environment with heat, dust, and noise

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Exposure to heat, dust, noise, vibration, and moving machinery
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion
Use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and metatarsal boots

Salary: We offer TOP PAY for experience $25.09 to $29.09 per hour, depending on qualifications

Hours: We have two shifts 1st 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and
2nd 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm plus $1.00 shift differential
