What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

Leading test planning, strategy and execution across product development cycles
Building and mentoring QA team members in test design, automation and defect management
Owning quality metrics, reporting and compliance validation against regulatory requirements
Designing and improving test automation frameworks and processes
Driving defect prioritization, root cause analysis and closure workflows
Coordinating testing efforts across engineering, product and operations teams
Ensuring adherence to quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards
Identifying process improvements and scaling testing practices across the organization

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

10–15 years of QA and testing experience, including hands-on test planning and automation
5+ years leading QA teams or quality-focused workstreams
Demonstrated expertise in test automation, quality metrics and defect management
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and compliance validation
ISTQB Certified Tester or ISTQB Advanced Tester certification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality Management
Authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have

Experience with regulated product environments (medical device, automotive, aerospace)
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Additional quality or testing certifications
