Manual Advanced Machinist
Fort Wayne, IN (46808)

Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years of advanced machining experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Forge Industrial Staffing in Fort Wayne is currently seeking an Manual Advanced Machinist for an opening with a manufacturing company located in Fort Wayne, IN (46808). The ideal candidate is a skilled machinist with strong troubleshooting abilities, experience operating precision machining equipment, and the flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, as occasional driving may be required.

Requirements of Manual Advanced Machinist

Minimum 5 years of advanced machining experience required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
Ability to occasionally drive company vehicles or travel locally as needed
Strong experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and precision measuring instruments
Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities of Manual Advanced Machinist

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Participate in an on-call rotation every other week
Set up and operate advanced machining equipment to manufacture precision components
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
Perform equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, and minor repairs as needed
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures
Occasionally drive to support operational or business needs as required
