Full Job Description

About the Role:

Niki D’Atri Enterprises Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resource / Safety and Environmental Administrator to lead and support HR and safety and environmental initiatives at our Youngstown OH and Darlington PA locations. This position plays a key role in managing employee relations, facilitating compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education, certification and relevant experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in an industrial setting
Strong working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, recruiting/staffing, retention
Experience with HR software suites, payroll systems and payroll processing
Experience with benefits administration (AFLAC, healthcare, HSA, 401k, PPE/uniforms)
Familiarity in administering safety programs, particularly related to OSHA standards
Familiarity in administering environmental programs, particularly related to SWPPP
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and development.
Guide company policies, benefits, training, compensation, and career development.
Maintain and update personnel records. (hires, transfers, performance reviews, attendance, etc.)
Payroll processing and benefits administration.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance related to labor laws, wage/hour regulations, and employment practices.
Represent the company in unemployment claims and workers’ compensation proceedings.
Organize and facilitate employee meetings, training sessions, and initiatives that promote safety, environmental compliance, engagement, and high performance.
Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of company safety and security policies and programs.
Oversee routine inspections to ensure compliance with environmental, safety and workplace regulations.
Serve as the primary liaison with local, state, and federal safety and security agencies.
Familiarity with SWPPP (Storm water Pollution Prevention Plan) compliance and H2B visa program management preferred.
