Full Job Description

Our growing home care agency for Seniors is seeking a versatile, technology-savvy Recruiting & HR Specialist to help us attract great caregivers and support our team.

This is a hands-on role in a small business environment where approximately 60% of your time will focus on recruiting and 40% on HR, onboarding, compliance, and employee development.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has successful recruiting experience in healthcare, home care, healthcare staffing, or other high-volume/blue-collar workforces
Is an excellent writer, communicator, trainer, and presenter
Has strong technology skills and quickly learns new software, systems, and AI tools
Enjoys solving problems and figuring things out independently
Is flexible, adaptable, and willing to pitch in wherever needed
Wants to grow their skills beyond recruiting and HR into areas such as operations, payroll, finance, or client services
Is familiar with AHCA ASPEN regulations and requirements

What You'll Do

Recruit, source, screen, and hire caregivers and Home Health Aides
Build relationships with healthcare schools, training programs, and community organizations
Manage the onboarding process, orientation programs, and digital hiring paperwork
Supervise one remote recruiter
Manage our eLearning platform, retention programs, and employee recognition initiatives
Administer benefits and assist with vendor management
Support performance management, employee coaching, and annual reviews
Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, wage and hour laws, and other employment regulations
Learn and apply Florida Department of Health regulations, including the industry ASPEN standards governing home care agencies
