Day Pitney's Private Client Department (PCD) is seeking an associate with a minimum of three years of experience to join our nationally recognized, Chambers-ranked Trusts & Estates practice in our Boca Raton or West Palm Beach office.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented, and sophisticated environment alongside industry leaders. We welcome candidates who are excited about handling sophisticated estate planning and estate/trust administration matters and who are interested in being actively involved in the Boca Raton and/or West Palm Beach community.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in high-net-worth trust and estate planning and administration, including knowledge of relevant Florida state and federal tax laws. Experience with domestic estate planning, including succession planning, lifetime giving, estate and income taxation issues, charitable giving; estate planning for retirement assets; and tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies is preferred.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in sophisticated private client matters involving trusts and estates, including tax and succession planning
Demonstrated interest in working in and being involved in the Boca Raton and/or West Palm Beach community
Excellent technical, professional and client service skills
Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills
Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration
Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
Current member of Florida state bar in good standing (required)
