Outbound Sales Representative

Curbside Upfitters, Boerne TX

compensation: 90 day base salary, then straight commission. Uncapped.

We build custom work vans. Mobile pet grooming rigs, mobile auto service and tire units, mobile detailing, mobile vet and specialty service builds. Real businesses on four wheels, built for people who are betting everything on themselves. Somebody has to go find those people. That is this job. This is a sales seat, and only a sales seat. The minute the agreement is signed and the deposit clears, our project management team takes the build and you go find the next one. You will never manage a build. You will never chase a punch list or explain a two week delay on a stainless order. You sell, you hand it off, you go again. If a "no" ruins your afternoon, close this tab.

What you'll do

30 to 60 outbound calls a day into pet grooming shops, dealership service departments, tire and lube shops, mobile detailers, veterinary practices, and independent service operators. Researched calls, not a spray list
Get past the front desk, the service writer, and the "just email me something"
Run a real discovery call. We do not read feature lists at people. You find out what they are actually trying to build and whether we are the right shop for it
Work the handful of warm leads we hand you, fast, before they go cold
Drive to a signed design agreement and a cleared deposit
Hand it off clean and move on
Log every call, every outcome, every objection in HubSpot. Your own deals only. No ghost activity.

About leads, so nobody is surprised in week two. We do get inbound off the website and our Google campaigns, and you will get those. It is a handful a month. It is not a pipeline and it will not carry your number. If you are sitting at your desk waiting on the lead list, you are going to have a bad quarter. Everything past that handful, you build.

What we're paying: Base salary for your first 90 days while you learn the product, the buyer, and the build process. After that it is commission only, uncapped.

Here is the part most commission jobs get wrong and we did not. You get paid when the agreement is signed and the deposit clears, not when the van rolls out the door. Our builds take months. Your paycheck should not.

Deal sizes run $30,000 to $200,000. These are not impulse buys and they are not enterprise software either. They are the single biggest check most of these owners will write this year.

No territory caps. No ceiling. Nobody above you has to leave for you to make more.

The other side of that: if you are not producing by month five, this will not be a comfortable place to work. Know that going in.

A $100,000 conversation does not make your voice go up
You do your own research before you dial. Our buyer list is specific, not infinite, and we do not burn names
You keep score on yourself and you hate losing

Who we don't want

Anyone who needs a warm lead list handed to them
Anyone who wants a base past day 90
Anyone who drops the price before the customer has objected to it
Anyone whose calls end with "I'll send you some information"
Anyone who calls in sick the day after a rough block

Nice to have, not required: Trades, automotive, fleet, upfitting, powersports, or equipment finance background. Product knowledge is teachable. Temperament is not.
