Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic, guest-focused dining experience! In this role, you will deliver exceptional service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while showcasing your culinary knowledge and beverage expertise. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively environment that celebrates food, drink, and great service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experiences and increase sales.
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms.
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling, and serving practices.
Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.
Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Support beverage service with knowledge of spirits, wine pairings, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during busy hours in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Experience

Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills.
Experience with food safety regulations and sanitation standards in the food industry.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong guest relations abilities.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently.
Knowledge of open table reservation systems like OpenTable is beneficial but not required.
