Job Summary

We are looking for a warm, friendly, professional Front Desk Receptionist to be the first face and voice our patients meet. This role calls for strong computer skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to accurately and patiently collect and enter patient information — someone who stays warm, calm, and professional even when a patient is having a hard day, and who reliably follows our established front-desk procedures.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally as they arrive
Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage a busy front desk
Accurately collect, verify, and enter patient information and insurance details into the system
Check patients in and out efficiently, minimizing wait times
Handle patient concerns and difficult situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Keep the front office organized and running smoothly
Communicate clearly with clinical staff regarding patient needs and scheduling

Qualifications

A warm, friendly, and welcoming personality paired with genuine professionalism
Strong computer skills, including comfort with scheduling/EHR software, email, and general office programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven customer service experience, ideally in a medical or healthcare setting
Very patient — able to remain calm and solutions-focused when working with difficult patients
Strong attention to detail for accurate, thorough information intake and data entry
A team player who works well within established procedures and takes direction and feedback well
Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
High school diploma or equivalent required; prior front desk/medical office experience preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
