Licensed Insurance Advisor (Sales & Service)

Location: Boise, ID
Job Type: Full-Time | In Office (Hybrid opportunity after 90 days)

What You'll Do

Build trusted relationships with new and existing customers.
Conduct proactive insurance account reviews to identify gaps in protection.
Educate customers on Property & Casualty, Life, Health, and Financial Services products.
Identify opportunities through needs-based conversations—not high-pressure sales.
Recommend solutions that genuinely improve customers' protection.
Write new Auto, Home, Renters, Condo, and Business insurance policies.
Discover opportunities for Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Investment referrals.
Work closely with customers to deliver exceptional service while strengthening long-term relationships.
Continuously expand your product knowledge and become a trusted insurance resource.

What Success Looks Like

Successful team members:

Conduct consistent account review appointments.
Confidently identify Life and Health insurance opportunities.
Help customers understand risks they may not have considered.
Contribute to the agency's sales goals through needs-based conversations.
Continue developing into product experts.
Work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

Property & Casualty Insurance License (required or willing to obtain before employment).
Life & Health License required within 60 days of hire.
Two years of professional experience preferred.
Experience in insurance, banking, financial services, hospitality, customer relationship management, retail sales, or wireless/cellular sales is highly valued.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable initiating conversations and making recommendations.
Organized, dependable, and accountable.
Comfortable learning new technology and systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary starting at $46,000, with typical total compensation of $50,000–$70,000+ based on experience and performance.
Performance-based incentives.

Monday-Friday schedule (8:15 AM-5:00 PM with one-hour unpaid lunch).
Hybrid work opportunity available after 90 days (up to two remote days per week based on performance).
