Full Job Description

Titanium Excavation, LLC., a wet utility and paving/grading contractor, is looking for an experienced Project Estimator/Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Review bid documents, site conditions, plans and specifications; prepare takeoffs; obtain subcontractor and material quotes; develop pricing for proposed work; review bids and collaborate on final bid adjustments; and submit bids to owners.
Attend all pre-bid and pre-con meetings.
Manage all changes to the project keeping an eye on change orders, making sure that they are profitable and timely.
Communicate project specifics and expectations to the team to ensure a successful outcome.
Develop and maintain relationships and collaborate with engineers, owners, municipalities, clients, subcontractors, and co-workers.

A successful Project Estimator/Manager:

Is thorough in planning and execution.
Is someone who has excellent foresight.
Recognizes that their communication with the team is a key to the success of the project.
Is detail oriented who can monitor the progress and costs always looking for ways to improve budgets.
Is timely and accurate with all job documentation, ensuring nothing is missed.
Has an excellent rapport with vendors, one that will get the best prices and timelines.
Has a proven track record of project accomplishments.

Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated working knowledge of means and methods of commercial excavation, wet utility and paving/grading work.
Experience reading plans/blueprints.
Ability to detect unsafe or hazardous conditions of equipment and work environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Competent written and verbal communication.
Math skills required to compute and communicate construction calculations.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple bids and projects at the same time.
Proficiency with all MS Office products, as well as familiarity with construction specific take-off, and estimating software such as Heavy Bid.
Strong follow-up and organization

Experience/Education/Requirements:

Minimum two (2) years Project Estimator/Manager or BS in Construction Management
Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
Ability to pass preemployment screening.

Physical Requirements:

Able & willing to work long hours including day, night, weekend shifts as needed, & work outside of normal hours.
Able to walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up-to 50 pounds frequently.
Able to work in outside environments being subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, and job hazards.

Titanium Excavation, LLC., offers the following benefits:

Salary Range $70,000 – 100,000 (negotiable within this range based upon experience)
