Full Job Description

Looking for an Experienced RN with Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Experience for a 6 Week Contract with a Local LTC Facility

Right Now Medical Staffing Co. is looking for an experienced rehabilitation and long term care RN to work a NOC shift contract starting ASAP. The schedule will be 3 12's (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) with 4 days off. The RN must a valid Idaho or compact state license and have pervious long term care experience. RNM is looking for someone who is reliable, and values teamwork. It will be a minimum of 6 weeks with possibility to extend.

Nurse Job Summary

The Nurse will provide effective and efficient patient care, in addition to aiding other healthcare professionals. You must have previous experience in skilled nursing facilities. Previous experience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a bonus. Working within your scope of practice, you will exercise decisiveness, critical thinking, autonomy, and assertiveness.

Responsibilities

Provide basic patient care, treatments, and administer medications
Observe patient, chart and report changes in condition, and implement necessary interventions
Evaluate nursing intervention outcomes, and document all care and findings
Adhere to the policies and procedures of the facility in which you are working
Any other reasonable requests of your supervisor

Additional responsibilities will be discussed upon hire and in accordance with certification and licensure.

Experience

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

· Licensed to practice in the State of Idaho

· Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility with acceptable references (required)

· Current BLS certification (required)

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English (or bilingual). Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations and demonstrate excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, proficiency with electronic medical records, and have the ability to multitask.

High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgement and positively influence others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Crouch, bend, stoop, lift, and transfer patients using good body mechanics

Pay: $53.00 - $55.00 per hour
