About Us:

Maple Grove Eye Care is a dedicated ophthalmic clinic providing high-quality eye care services to the Boise community. We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and ensure a seamless experience for our patients from check-in to check-out.

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, from greeting patients and verifying insurance to managing phone calls and maintaining organized records.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain office organization through clerical duties such as filing and document management.
Assist in calendar management for appointments and meetings.
Provide administrative support to staff as needed, ensuring smooth office operations.
Handle Prescription refill requests from patients and pharmacists.
Collect insurance cards and photo IDs for yearly appointments.
Verify active insurance coverage benefits through different insurance platforms.
Locate and prepare patient charts using a color-coded system.
Organize new patient charts following the designated color-coding method.

Skills

Proficiency in phone systems and excellent verbal communication skills.
Strong administrative skills with experience in data entry and clerical tasks.
Solid computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
Effective calendar management skills to coordinate schedules efficiently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
