Full Job Description

EALG&S, PC is a growing CPA firm with offices located in Center City Philadelphia, PA, Willow Grove, PA and Haddonfield, NJ. We are seeking a detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to immediately join our firm in our Haddonfield, NJ office.

Our Haddonfield office is conveniently located near public transportation for easy access to/from Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

Managing full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients.
Reconciling bank, cash, credit card and other balance sheet accounts.
Maintaining accurate general ledger accounts.
Preparing journal entries and supporting workpapers.
Payroll, Sales and Use tax returns.
Preparing and filing 1099s, W-2s and W-3s.
Communicating professionally with clients and team members to gather information and resolve accounting questions.
Experience with tax preparation would be advantageous.

Qualifications:

Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Must be able to work in a networked environment and with online/cloud-based accounting applications.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Accounting degree preferred, but not required.
Public accounting experience is a plus.
Experience with Ultra Tax or other tax preparation software is a plus.
