Overview

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in the system
- Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing medical records
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role/willing to train
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures necessary
- Proficiency in using dental or medical office software such as ,Carestack, Dentrix , or similar systems/will train the right person
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Friendly and professional demeanor
