The Opportunity:
Whittier Street Health Center is seeking a full-time Child & Family Clinician (LCSW or LMHC) to join our Behavioral Health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and families, including assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy, and family support.

This position collaborates closely with Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Primary Care, and community partners to deliver integrated, trauma-informed care that supports our mission to advance health equity and provide high-quality, patient-centered care to Boston’s diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and families.
Conduct behavioral health assessments, screenings, intakes, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Primary Care, and external partners to coordinate patient care.
Provide crisis support, clinical consultation, and referrals as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that supports the needs of diverse patient populations.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
Active Massachusetts clinical license required (LCSW or LMHC).
Active CANS certification required or ability to obtain prior to start.
Experience providing therapy or clinical services to children, adolescents, and families required.
Knowledge of DSM-5, behavioral health assessments, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and interdisciplinary care teams.
