At Careful Counseling, we believe private practice shouldn't mean practicing alone.

We are an independently owned, psychologist-led group practice specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, ADHD, and related conditions. Our clinicians provide exceptional care while enjoying the collaboration, consultation, and professional support that are often difficult to find in private practice.

We are intentionally different from large corporate therapy organizations. Rather than treating clinicians as numbers, we invest in long-term professional relationships, individualized mentorship, and creating an environment where psychologists can build fulfilling and sustainable careers.

Whether you're a newly licensed psychologist, completing your postdoctoral fellowship, or an experienced clinician looking for a collaborative practice, you'll have access to ongoing consultation, administrative support, referrals, and opportunities to continue growing as a clinician.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
Develop collaborative, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's goals
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Participate in peer consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration
Deliver compassionate, ethical, culturally responsive care
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and professional ethical standards

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

Please apply only if you meet one of the following qualifications:

Licensed psychologist (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.)
Psychology postdoctoral fellow who has completed a doctoral degree and is working toward licensure
Doctoral candidate in the final stages of completing a Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent doctoral program

At this time, we are not considering applications from master's-level clinicians (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, master's-level counselors) or graduate students who have not yet completed a doctoral degree.
