SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

MSP / Cybersecurity Full-Time Remote / Hybrid (Boston Mass)

This role is expected to earn $150K+.
Are you the hunter who builds relationships, earns trust, and closes deals others can’t get in the door? If this is what gets you excited, keep reading.

Tech Advisors is a fast-growing MSP across New England — cybersecurity, compliance, co-managed IT — and we’re looking for a seasoned closer to drive new business. This isn’t an SDR role. You’ll own the full hunt: networking, working inbound leads, building referral relationships, and closing.

OTE: $95,000–$150,000+ | No ceiling | Base $65K–$70K + 100% of first month MRR

Who You Must Be

You must have prior success selling managed IT and cybersecurity solutions or B2B technology to business owners and operations managers of mid-market New England companies — and you must be able to close in 30–90 days without hand-holding.

This is a true hunter role — not responding to RFPs.

You know how to:

Work a room
Follow up persistently (without being annoying)
Convert warm introductions into signed agreements

You’re comfortable owning a territory and building pipeline from scratch through:

Networking
Inbound lead follow-up
Referrals
Direct outreach

The hard part: You’ll be accountable to revenue targets, not just activity. You’ll need to build your network in the New England business community, stay disciplined with pipeline hygiene in HubSpot, and close deals.

What You’ll Do

Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal, and close
Work and convert inbound leads from website, referrals, and marketing campaigns
Build and maintain a referral network (associations, trade shows, events)
Conduct direct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Qualify opportunities (IT pain, security needs, IT structure, budget)
Maintain accurate pipeline data in HubSpot CRM
Collaborate with Sales Engineering on discovery and proposals
Stay current on services, promotions, and positioning

What We Need You to Bring

Experience

5+ years selling MSP, IT services, or cybersecurity solutions in a hunter role

Buyer Knowledge

Proven ability to sell to business owners, ops managers, and IT decision-makers

Sales Cycle

Track record closing 30–90 day B2B cycles with multiple stakeholders

Networking

Strong networker with existing relationships OR proven ability to build them

CRM Discipline

HubSpot or similar; clean pipeline management and forecasting

Communication

Strong phone and written presence; you earn callbacks and replies

Bonus

Familiarity with MSP tools: ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar

What We Offer

Base salary: $65,000–$70,000
Uncapped commission (100% of first month MRR)
OTE: $95,000–$150,000+ with no ceiling
