Full Job Description

We are a rapidly growing Dermatology and Cosmetic office in Longmont, Colorado seeking a full-time experienced Medical Receptionist.

Duties will include:

* Answering calls on a multi-line phone system

* Heavy scheduling for 4 Providers & 2 Aestheticians

* Managing cash/credit card/check payments and applying to patient accounts

* Speaking with patients in person and over the phone about medical/cosmetic
services & products

* General office duties as assigned

* Experience with patient scheduling software preferred

MUST have the following skills:

* Ability to communicate clearly with office staff and medical providers

* Professional and caring attitude towards patients

* Professional phone demeanor and outstanding customer service skills

* Basic knowledge of computer software (EMR experience preferred), MS Excel and
MS Office, faxing, and scanning required.

* Ability to take initiative and problem solve on behalf of the patients

* Ability to MULTI-TASK while managing front desk responsibilities

* Understanding of HIPAA guidelines

Must have at least 2+ years experience in a medical office maintaining the front desk receptionist position. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, eager to incorporate our office procedures, and is able to manage the process of multiple tasks at one time. We run a very busy office, and the ability to stay focused while remaining professional is essential.

Dermatology experience along with knowledge of Modernizing Medicine EMR is a plus.
