Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurially minded Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in legal practice areas including civil litigation, commercial litigation, small business advising, real estate matters, or develop another practice area that you currently practice or want to learn.

The ideal candidate will be eager to provide exceptional legal services to firm clients as well as engage in marketing to develop firm clients or the attorney’s own book of business. The position may be a traditional hourly billing position or an incentive based position with no hourly billing requirements which could be a great position for an attorney who has considered solo practice or wants a flexible schedule. Position is remote/hybrid with no in-office requirement but employee must be located in the Denver area.

Duties

Conduct client interviews to gather pertinent information for case assessments and strategize and recommend a course of action to efficiently resolve client legal disputes.
Conduct legal research as needed to efficiently address client issues.
Draft and review legal documents including demand letters, pleadings, contracts, memos, and correspondence with precision and clarity
Prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials, negotiations, and client meetings.
Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures

Experience

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in Colorado
Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw
Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents
Strong analytical skills complemented by attention to detail
Prior legal administrative experience is preferred but not required
Effective negotiation skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
