Full Job Description

A family-owned operation building toward 15 restaurants across Northern New Jersey. We're hiring a General Manager who will run the flagship location in New Providence and help us build what comes next.

This is a real operator's role. You lead from the floor during service and run the business when it slows. We're not looking for a strong shift manager with a title — we're looking for someone who has already run a high-volume restaurant well and wants a bigger table to play at, with greater upside potential.

What You'll OwnThe Store

Full P&L ownership: labor, food cost, prime cost, budget adherence, and complaint rate
All four channels — dine-in, off-premise (takeout and delivery), catering, and our private event room
Scheduling to volume in a way that protects margin without burning out the team
Inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and negotiation
Presence on the floor during peak service, setting the tone for pace, hospitality, and standards

The Team

Hiring, developing, and — when necessary — exiting your staff; you build the team you lead
Direct leadership of the AGM/FOH manager and the kitchen manager
Building the bench: we can't open future locations without managers who came up here

The Systems

Developing training programs, position checklists, and certification standards
Labor efficiency work across departments
Assisting in the continued development of our internal playbook by building documented recipes and SOPs

Requirements

3+ years as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant, pizzeria, or fast-casual environment, with a track record running a location doing $2M+ in annual sales volume
Demonstrated, direct P&L ownership — you've carried a P&L, not just executed someone else's plan
Proven experience building and formalizing systems: training programs, SOPs, scheduling models, or other tools that outlasted your shift
Track record developing managers who went on to be promoted
Fluency in restaurant economics: labor %, food cost %, prime cost, SPLH, and scheduling to forecast
Proficiency with restaurant technology; our stack includes Toast, 7shifts, Google Sheets, Shipday, Ovation, Marqii, and more
Availability to work nights, weekends, and peak service hours — this is an on-the-floor leadership role, not a 9-to-5
Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) required, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Multi-unit, multi-department, or above-store experience is a strong plus, though not required

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $80,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience
