Full Job Description

Job Summary
This is Per Time position for every other weekend.

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support in their homes. This vital role involves fostering a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for residents or clients, promoting their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive to detail, and passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing valuable skills in healthcare and social support.

Duties

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
Assist clients. with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), including shopping, transportation, and meal prep
Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting concerns promptly
Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties to promote hygiene and comfort
Document care activities accurately in compliance with care plans and regulatory standards like HIPAA

Qualifications

Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments preferred
Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s), memory care, and hospice care practices
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through direct support and personalized care
