Full Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an ADVANCED Skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components using a MIG welder, ensuring the highest-quality welds for structural integrity that MYCO has built its history on as being the leader in custom built trailers ! Only backgrounds with a min. of 10 years of strong fabrication and excellent blueprint reading will be considered. Also the ability to read and interpret all prints and drawings from English. Please be prepared to bring Certification Cards and current refrences.

**Duties:**

- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications as well as interpret weld symbols

- Set up welding machines based on the job at hand

- Operate power and hand tools to complete projects such as use of grinders, squares, tape measures, plasma cutters, and other tools normally used.

- Perform standard beveling with material prep

- Inspect and test welded structures to discover flaws

- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

**Experience:** To be successful in this role, you'll need :

- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role for min. 10 years

- Proficient in MIG welding techniques

- Familiarity with various welding equipment and procedures

- Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills

- A proactive, independent work style with a drive for continuous improvement.

- Excellent problem-solving and optimization abilities

**Skills:**

- Ability to use calipers and micrometers for precision measurements

- Experience with plasma cutting

- Ability to weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components to high tolerances

- Knowledge of working with both Steel and Aluminum

- Ability to read and use tape measure accurately a must

- Proficiency in forklift operation

- High regard to follow attendance policy so that it doesn't affect schedule.
