Job Summary

This is a 90% work from home / remote position. This role is the communication and coordination hub for our six self-storage facilities. The Admin Coordinator owns the customer experience from the first phone call through move-in, tenancy, and move-out, ensuring every tenant feels taken care of and every property runs smoothly behind the scenes.

This person manages inbound calls, reservations, and tenant support, processes move-ins and move-outs, tracks delinquent accounts, and coordinates virtual storage unit auctions when required. They also assign and oversee maintenance tasks by dispatching local vendors or handymen and ensuring work is completed properly and on time.

In addition, this role handles reporting, data tracking, and system updates to keep ownership informed on occupancy, collections, maintenance issues, and operational performance. Strong organization, follow-through, and customer service skills are needed— this person is often the voice of our company and plays a major role in tenant satisfaction, retention, and property performance.

Schedule and Hours

This role averages approximately 20 working hours per week, but coverage is tied to our office hours of 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Days off are rarely weekends as those tend to have higher call volumes.

This is not traditional “busy every minute” work. Some days may be very light with only a few calls or tasks, while other days — especially around the first of the month when rent is due — can be noticeably busier. The role requires availability, consistency, and responsiveness during scheduled hours, even when call volume fluctuates.

Understands that their work directly affects occupancy, collections, and tenant satisfaction
Comfortable working from home and able to stay focused without distractions
Has a quiet, professional home work environment
Self-disciplined and productive without supervision
