Quality Control Inspector
Location: Onsite | Forsyth, MO Training Schedule: Initial training expected on
mid shift for at least a few weeks, Noon - 10:30 PM

Compensation: Starting at $20.50/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2:45 PM - 1:15 AM | Four 10-hour shifts
About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support line inspections, in-process checks, sample handling, and quality documentation in a nutrition manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented candidate who is comfortable working in production areas and helping ensure products meet established standards for purity, composition, and quality.
What You'll Do
● Perform pre-operation line approvals and routine quality checks across production areas.
● Inspect in-process and finished product for defects, collect samples for testing, and complete customer-required
quality checks.
● Conduct periodic weight checks to confirm encapsulating and tableting equipment is dosing properly.
● Support sampling, release, retention, and organization of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging
components.
● Maintain QC hold areas and logs, including dispositions, file updates, and periodic inventory activity.
● Review batch records, testing status, order approvals, and packaging work orders to support scheduling and
product release.
● Assist with environmental sanitation sampling, equipment IQ/OQ completion, investigations, monthly retesting, and
related QC tasks.
What We're Looking For
● High school diploma or GED required.
● Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow written, oral, and diagram-based
instructions.
● Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
● Clear written and verbal communication skills for routine reports, correspondence, and cross-department
coordination.
● Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
● Comfort using in-house computer systems and basic office equipment.
Preferred Skills
● Prior quality control, manufacturing, raw material, or regulated production experience is helpful but not required.
● Familiarity with statistical process control principles.
● Experience using pallet jacks or similar material-handling tools.
Physical and Work Environment
● Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and move up to 250 pounds using a pallet jack or similar tool.
● Role requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching, close-up vision, color vision, and use of hands to handle tools or
controls.
● PPE is required around raw materials, components, or manufacturing areas.
