Full Job Description

***3 YEARS OR MORE IN AN AUTO BODY SHOP is a requirement, especially dealing with auto insurance***

Qualifications

3 years or more in an auto body shop is a requirement, especially dealing with auto insurance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Positive and professional demeanor
Knowledge of the auto body industry
Comfortable with picking up and lifting larger parts
Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs

Responsibilities

Greet customers as they arrive in a pleasant and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to the proper party
Create customer files & help with repair invoices
Check-in vehicles being dropped off for repair work
Handle walk-ins for estimates, including taking pictures, documenting damages, and collecting contact and important information
Schedule and track appointments
Assist shop Managers and Estimators as necessary (i.e., customer calls, estimates, vendors, etc.)
Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area
Maintain cleanliness of main lobby, including refreshments station
Your role is crucial in ensuring that our clients have a positive experience from the moment they walk in
You will handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the smooth operation of our shop
Assist with billing and processing payments
Follow up with insurance companies on claims and payments
Check in and order parts using CCC and by calling suppliers
Perform payroll tasks as needed
Pay shop bills
Conduct walk-arounds to keep up with cars in the shop and know their progress
Perform production management tasks to ensure smooth operations
Keep up with and call for pick up on return parts, ensuring they go back to the correct place
Follow up on parts to ensure their arrival
Data entry and input invoices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
