We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about oncology nursing, committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care, and thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This is a full-time opportunity to work alongside physicians, and clinical specialists who are transforming the future of integrative care.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform IV insertion using sterile technique while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Assess patients prior to treatment by reviewing medical history, physician orders, laboratory results, and obtaining baseline vital signs.
Administer physician-ordered IV therapies, hydration, vitamins, minerals, and other infusion treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor patients throughout infusions, assess for adverse reactions, and intervene appropriately when necessary.
Educate patients on treatment expectations, hydration, nutrition, and post-infusion care.
Accurately document assessments, treatments, patient responses, and communications in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Maintain IV therapy supplies, infusion equipment, and treatment rooms while following safety standards.
Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care.
Perform daily equipment and station safety checks.
Maintain compliance with clinic policies, OSHA standards, and nursing best practices.

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Minimum two years of experience in infusion nursing, IV therapy, oncology, or a related clinical specialty.
Excellent peripheral IV insertion and venipuncture skills.
Experience accessing and de-accessing implanted venous access devices (Ports) preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
ACLS certification preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience using Electronic Medical Records (eClinicalWorks desired).
Typing speed of 45+ WPM.

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Bend, reach, and assist patients safely during treatments.
Perform repetitive hand movements required for IV insertion and clinical procedures.
Occasionally lift and move supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
