About Zula & Mac

We're looking for someone who loves people, has a great eye for style, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, growing team. If you're naturally welcoming, detail-oriented, and excited to help create memorable shopping experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Position Summary

As a Retail Sales Associate at our Factory at Franklin location, you'll be one of the first faces customers see when they walk through our doors. Your primary responsibility is creating an exceptional shopping experience by building relationships, providing thoughtful product recommendations, maintaining beautiful merchandising standards, and supporting the daily operations of the store.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and behind-the-scenes responsibilities that help a retail business thrive.

What You'll Do

Welcome every customer with warmth and genuine hospitality
Build authentic relationships and provide personalized service
Assist customers with furniture, home décor, lighting, gifts, and boutique clothing
Learn our products well enough to confidently make recommendations
Process sales accurately through Shopify POS
Receive new merchandise by processing purchase orders and vendor invoices
Input new products into our inventory system and ensure merchandise is accurately priced and sales-floor ready
Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully merchandised sales floor
Help restock merchandise and keep inventory organized
Assist with seasonal displays, merchandising projects, and promotional events
Package purchases with care and attention to detail
Assist with inventory counts and other operational projects as needed
Support store opening and closing procedures
Work collaboratively with teammates to create an exceptional customer experience every day

Qualifications

Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
Comfortable learning new technology and retail systems
Dependable, accountable, and self-motivated
Passionate about home décor, interior design, fashion, or merchandising
Able to stand for extended periods
Available to work weekdays and rotating weekends
