Full Job Description

About the Role

Conversion Interactive Agency is seeking an SEO & GEO Specialist for an in-office position to serve as our internal expert on traditional organic search, AI-powered search, and Generative Engine Optimization.

You will work across Product, Marketing, Product Enablement, and client-facing teams to analyze search performance, identify opportunities, and turn complex search data into practical recommendations for our products, teams, and clients.

What You Will Do

Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on SEO, GEO, organic visibility, and emerging search trends
Conduct keyword, prompt, competitor, content, backlink, and search landscape research
Analyze rankings, traffic, visibility, backlinks, and other search performance indicators
Conduct SEO audits and identify technical, on-page, content, and competitive opportunities
Monitor search engine updates, AI-powered discovery platforms, and changes in search behavior
Develop GEO best practices and evaluate brand visibility across traditional and AI-powered search
Translate research and performance data into clear, actionable recommendations
Partner with Product teams to identify SEO-related workflows, use cases, product features, reporting, and data opportunities
Review product concepts, training materials, documentation, and guidance for SEO accuracy
Communicate SEO concepts and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience
Agency experience or experience supporting multiple clients or brands
Strong working knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, keyword research, content optimization, backlink analysis, and organic search performance
Understanding of search engine crawling, indexing, ranking, and content visibility
Proficiency with Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4
Experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
Familiarity with structured data, schema markup, site architecture, and technical SEO concepts
Hands-on experience researching or working with AI-powered search platforms and GEO strategies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to turn data into practical recommendations and explain SEO concepts to non-specialists

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SaaS, marketing technology, analytics, or digital products
Experience working with and presenting SEO recommendations to clients, executives, or other non-technical stakeholders
