Full Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic design and engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and 3D models that bring innovative concepts to life. Your expertise will support various projects, including architectural, mechanical, interior design, and construction systems, ensuring all designs meet project specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects while honing your drafting skills in a collaborative environment.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Rhinoceros 3D.
Create schematics, system designs, and construction documents that accurately reflect project requirements.
Utilize SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max to produce visualizations and animations for presentations and client reviews.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise technical drawings.
Incorporate graphic design principles into visual materials to enhance clarity and aesthetic appeal.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project deadlines.
Assist in the development of mechanical designs and interior layouts for various construction projects.

Experience

Proven experience in CAD drafting within architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.
Strong understanding of drafting standards, schematics creation, system design processes, and construction documentation.
Experience with graphic design tools and techniques to produce compelling visual presentations.
Knowledge of mechanical design principles and interior design fundamentals is highly desirable.
Familiarity with 2D animation techniques for project visualization is a plus.
Prior experience working on construction projects or system layouts will be advantageous.
