Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of café ensuring quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
Create, test, and refine menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
Responsible for food and beverage inventory and controlling waste.
Placing orders, and managing vendor relations.
Develop and manage food cost, labor cost, pricing strategies, margin targets, and budget forecasts.
Responsible for training, leading, and mentor team members.
Oversees the creation and execution of cleaning routines, side work assignments, and daily beautification tasks to maintain a spotless and inviting environment.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations (local, state, and federal).
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and guest service standards for every shift.
Handle guest feedback related to food & beverage — resolve issues and improve processes.
Collaborate with marketing/events team to integrate special menus or event-based food offerings (theme nights, group events, etc.).
Coordinate with maintenance and facilities teams for kitchen equipment upkeep and repairs.
Maintain all required licenses and certifications (ServSafe).
Analyze sales, profitability, and operational data; prepare regular reports for General Manager/Ownership.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capex planning for kitchen improvements, repairs, replacements. .
Enforce and maintain open communication with the general manager, ownership, and other departments.
Serve as Manager-on-Duty when needed for overall park support, especially during peak times.
Perform other duties as assigned by general manager or ownership.

Education, Skills and Work Experience Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Business, is preferred.
1-2 years of management or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, or concessions operations, is preferred.
Proven success in managing food cost, labor cost, margin targets, and budgeting.
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
Excellent organizational ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
Proficient with POS systems, inventory software, and Google Workspace..
Certified or able to obtain: ServSafe Food Protection Manager.
Knowledge of health codes, sanitation, and safety standards, is preferred.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform kitchen-related tasks.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check is required..

Work Environment:

Active, busy kitchen and concession setting with high volume during peak hours.
Exposure to heat, noise, equipment, and cleaning chemicals — must maintain a clean, safe environment.
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability are essential.
Standing, walking, and physical tasks required daily.
