At Blue Trident Pool Service, we specialize in professional pool maintenance and service throughout Brevard County. Our commitment to excellence ensures our clients enjoy clean, safe, and well-maintained pools. We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Pool Service Technician to join our team!

Job Overview:

The Pool Service Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring proper water quality, equipment functionality, and customer satisfaction. This role is for candidates who already have hands-on pool service experience and can work independently with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Pool Maintenance (40%)

Skim debris, brush walls, vacuum pools, and empty skimmer and pump baskets.
Test and adjust water chemistry using chlorine, acid, stabilizers, and other necessary chemicals.
Monitor and adjust water levels.

Equipment Maintenance & Repairs (30%)

Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and salt chlorinators.
Detect and repair minor leaks, clogs, and malfunctions.
Backwash and clean filters as needed.

Customer Service & Communication (15%)

Interact professionally with clients to address service needs and concerns.
Provide recommendations for maintenance plans, repairs, or equipment upgrades.
Maintain detailed service records and reports.

Safety & Compliance (10%)

Follow all safety guidelines when handling chemicals and operating equipment.
Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.

Additional Duties (5%)

Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory of supplies.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
Travel required between job sites within Brevard County.
Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications (Required — Experienced Techs Only):

Minimum 1 year of professional swimming pool service experience required — this is not an entry-level or training position.
Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve equipment issues (pumps, filters, salt chlorinators, heaters).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Must be comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull 30+ lbs on a daily basis.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
Ability to speak and read the English language.
Mobile cellphone with internet connectivity.
CPO certification a plus, not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $40,000 - $45,000 per year
