Full Charge Bookkeeper- Vineland, NJ

Someone with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging professionally with both customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers

Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements

Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements

Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems

Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar (CPA preferred)

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required

Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Strong organizational skills – detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and be proactive

Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

Ability to plan and prioritize workload and have excellent multi-tasking abilities

Quality decision-making skills

Self-motivated and self-starter, proactive in learning and career development

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail

Interpersonal and communication skills

Teamwork and collaboration skills with a willingness to support the team to success

Time management - meeting deadlines, managing workloads, ability to prioritize effectively
