Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our mental health care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality psychiatric care to diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals manage mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, neurodevelopmental challenges, and disabilities. You will play a key role in fostering recovery and resilience through evidence-based interventions, medication management, and therapeutic modalities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while working within a dynamic, supportive environment committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations for patients across various age groups and backgrounds.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include psychopharmacology, therapy referrals, and other interventions.
Manage medication regimens responsibly, monitoring effectiveness and adjusting as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for individuals with co-occurring disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, or disabilities.
Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in psychiatric practices and emerging treatment modalities.

Qualifications

Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid licensure to practice psychiatry in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in psychiatric patient care with a focus on diverse populations and complex cases.
Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology principles and medication management strategies.
Experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
Ability to work effectively with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities, providing tailored interventions.
Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient engagement and education.
