Full Job Description

The OceanCliff Hotel is seeking applicants to join our Banquets and Events Set-Up Team! Set-Up Attendants are responsible for preparing space for all functions according to floor plans, manager and client expectations in an on-going effort to deliver outstanding guest service to our valued clients.

Qualified candidates must be available to work Weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities:

Read Banquet Event Order (BEO) and complete set up accordingly
Set-Up of all tables, linens, glassware, flatware and buffet tables according to BEO
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
Must be attentive, helpful, and courteous to all guests and other team members
Banquet Event setup and breakdown.

Qualifications:

Must be self-sufficient, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 20 pounds or more. This position requires lifting, pulling and pushing of tables, chairs, linen and other components needed for Banquets and Events.
