Full Job Description

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and student-centered professional to serve as an Early College/Pathway Transition Coordinator. This blended role supports both our growing Early College cohorts in partnership with Bridgewater State University and the BRYT (Bridges for Resilient Youth in Transition) program at DRRHS.This position is designed to support students across two critical pathways: Students enrolled in rigorous college-level coursework through Early CollegeStudents transitioning back to school following a long term absence due to medical or other challenges.The successful candidate will provide academic coaching, case management, college and career planning, and targeted intervention services to ensure student success.Position OverviewThis role includes both scheduled Early College cohort support and flexible, responsive BRYT student support throughout the school day.A portion of the daily schedule will be dedicated to structured Early College support periods working directly with cohort groupsThe remainder of the day will focus on BRYT academic coordination, reintegration support, and individualized student interventionThe structure of the schedule may shift based on program needsThis position serves as both an academic interventionist and a college transition support specialist.Key ResponsibilitiesEarly College (Structured / Cohort-Based Support)Facilitate assigned academic support/college planning periods for Early College cohorts as part of the daily scheduleCollaborate with guidance and administration to develop an Early College master schedule that seamlessly integrates into the DRRHS master schedule.Provide academic coaching for students enrolled in college courseworkSupport time management, executive functioning, and college-level study skillsLead MyCap implementation, including college, career, and major explorationMonitor student progress, grades, and assignment completionServe as liaison between DRRHS and Bridgewater State University faculty/staffSupport student orientation, family outreach, and program communicationAdvocate for students and coordinate interventions as neededBRYT Program & Student Support (Flexible / Responsive)Provide direct academic support and reintegration support for BRYT studentsSupport students returning from extended absences (medical, hospitalization, concussion recovery, or social-emotional challenges)Collaborate with the BRYT Clinical Coordinator on individualized reintegration plansCoordinate with teachers on assignments, pacing, and accommodationsMonitor student progress and support re-establishing academic routinesProvide ongoing case management and communication with families, counselors, and administrationSupport student engagement and successful return to a full academic scheduleProvide continued support following reintegration
