Full Job Description

Language: Japanese/English

Requirements: CMA/RMA, BLS and training certification

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care Support: Organize patient flow, assist with patient mobility and procedures, take vital signs, and relay instructions to patients and families.

Clerical Duties: Manage patient medical records, obtain lab and referral information, complete necessary forms, and ensure accurate documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Order Management: Enter orders into the EMR and prepare prescription refill requests for physician approval.

Supply Management: Inventory, order, and restock medical supplies as needed.

Room Preparation: Set up examination rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.

Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to infection control policies, and ensure compliance with protective equipment regulations.

Chart Maintenance: Assist with filing and managing medical charts and documentation.

Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule surgeries or procedures, verify timings with patients, and prepare necessary documentation.

Additional Duties: May include performing phlebotomy, updating patient information, and verifying insurance details.

Overall, the Medical Assistant I plays a vital role in supporting healthcare delivery, ensuring efficient office operations, and maintaining patient safety and satisfaction
