Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Residential Project Manager to lead and oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of residential building processes. Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Manage project teams including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout all phases of construction.
Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Job Tread or RoofR, coordinating construction schedules with design schematics and blueprints.
Oversee cost management activities by preparing accurate construction estimates, managing budgets, and controlling project costs through effective procurement and resource allocation.
Review construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Monitor construction site activities daily to ensure safety protocols are followed and regulatory compliance is maintained.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality control issues, and safety compliance; address any issues promptly to keep projects on track.
Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to communicate updates and resolve any project challenges efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or residential construction projects with a strong focus on commercial construction experience preferred.
Understanding of construction estimating processes and cost management strategies.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Proficiency reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment on-site.
Effective communication skills for clear interaction with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with managing contracts and understanding legal aspects of construction projects is highly desirable.
