Complete Dental Care | Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time Compensation: $25–$30/hour plus bonus system, DOE

Complete Dental Care in Brooklyn is looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to run our front office, keep the schedule full, and lead the charge on treatment plan presentation and case acceptance. We're a busy, mixed-payer practice — Medicaid, PPO, and fee-for-service — so we need someone who's comfortable managing that complexity and turning it into a smooth patient experience and a healthy schedule.

About the Role

You'll own day-to-day front office operations: scheduling, insurance verification across Medicaid/PPO/FFS, and patient billing. Just as important, you'll be the one presenting treatment plans to patients and closing them — using financing options (Cherry, HFD etc.) to make treatment accessible and drive case acceptance. This is a hands-on role for someone who's both organized and persuasive, equally comfortable with a packed schedule and a tough financial conversation.

What You'll Do

Manage the full patient scheduling process across providers, keeping the schedule full and minimizing gaps and no-shows
Verify insurance and manage a mixed payer mix — Medicaid, PPO, and fee-for-service — accurately and efficiently
Present treatment plans to patients clearly and confidently, addressing questions and objections
Close treatment plans using financing options, maximizing case acceptance while keeping the process easy for patients
Oversee patient billing, collections, and payment plans
Lead and support the front desk team, setting the tone for a warm, professional patient experience
Troubleshoot day-to-day scheduling and billing issues with a calm, solutions-first approach
Partner with the doctors on treatment planning and communication with patients

What We're Looking For

Significant, hands-on experience in dental office scheduling
Proven track record presenting and closing treatment plans, including using patient financing options
Experience working with a mixed payer mix — Medicaid, PPO, and FFS — strongly preferred
Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus (not required)
Strong communication and people skills — you can lead a team and hold a confident, persuasive conversation with patients about treatment and cost
Excellent organizational skills and comfort managing a fast-paced schedule
