What You’ll Do

You will work closely with technicians and support staff to ensure daily pharmacy operations run safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Depending on whether you join as a Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager, responsibilities may include:

Reviewing and verifying prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, interactions, allergies, contraindications, and therapeutic duplication
Supervising prescription preparation and final dispensing
Counseling patients on medication use, side effects, storage, adherence, and interactions
Communicating with patients, caregivers, prescribers, and pharmacy staff
Resolving prescription clarifications, refill requests, transfers, insurance rejections, and prior-authorization issues
Supporting technicians and helping prioritize workflow
Maintaining accurate patient profiles, prescription records, and required documentation
Reviewing inventory, medication availability, recalls, expired products, and ordering needs
Assisting with medication synchronization and adherence concerns
Administering vaccinations when applicable and properly trained
Maintaining an organized, compliant, and patient-focused pharmacy
For the Pharmacy Manager role, providing additional leadership and oversight of daily pharmacy operations

The workload is structured so you can perform your responsibilities thoroughly rather than constantly rushing from one problem to the next.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice
Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred

Excellent attention to detail
Strong patient-counseling and communication skills
Ability to guide and support pharmacy technicians
Dependable, organized, and comfortable overseeing daily operations
Calm and professional when managing multiple responsibilities
