Full Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, hands-on, and experienced Assistant Manager to lead the overall operation of our restaurant. In this pivotal role, you will oversee aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and profitability. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and foster a vibrant dining environment that keeps guests coming back. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated management professional with a background in food service and hospitality management to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Lead daily restaurant operations, opening and closing shifts, managing staff schedules, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
Manage POS systems to facilitate accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
Train and develop team members in customer service skills, food safety protocols, and operational procedures to foster a high-performing team.
Maintain compliance with health regulations and food safety standards while promoting a culture of cleanliness and safety.
Lead efforts in managing hospitality teams across various departments including kitchen, bar, serving staff and catering staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Monitor labor, productivity, hiring and training.
Strong communication skills, run weekly manager meetings.

Experience

Proven management experience within quick service restaurants or casual dining environments with a focus on team leadership.
Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems for sales transactions and reporting.
Experience supervising staff training in hospitality settings.
Previous experience managing casual dining restaurant and catering operations is highly desirable.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
