About the Role

As a Precision Machining Specialist, you will play a vital role in our production cycle by transforming raw materials into high-quality components. You will leverage your technical expertise in CNC and lathe operations to ensure every part meets rigorous engineering standards while optimizing machine efficiency.

Responsibilities

Configure and manage lathe equipment to execute precise turning, drilling, and facing operations on diverse metal alloys.
Analyze complex engineering blueprints and technical specifications to establish correct machining parameters and tolerances.
Optimize production output by selecting appropriate cutting tools and fine-tuning feed and speed settings.
Maintain high quality standards by monitoring machining processes and performing real-time adjustments to prevent deviations.
Execute preventative maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability and extend the lifespan of critical machinery.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and improve overall manufacturing workflows.
Perform secondary finishing tasks, such as deburring, to ensure components meet final inspection requirements.

Qualifications

Required Skills

High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and geometric dimensioning.
Experience utilizing precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
Strong understanding of cutting tool geometries and their application in industrial machining.
Proven ability to perform machine setups and troubleshoot operational issues in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in a dedicated CNC or lathe operator role.
Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards and quality protocols.
Hands-on experience with manual machining techniques and equipment.
Technical knowledge of CNC programming and advanced machine changeover procedures.
