Full Job Description

Wesley Manor Retirement Community, founded in 1963, is a Greystone-Supported, Not-For-Profit, locally owned, Faith Based Life Plan Community in Louisville, KY. The community is undertaking an independent living expansion that will transform the long-trusted Life Plan Community into offering full service independent living. We are seeking an Expansion Senior Living Sales Counselor to support the Independent Living expansion by building early demand, guiding prospects through a future-oriented decision cycle, and converting qualified interest into priority/reservation commitments for this exciting project pre-construction. Supported by Greystone’s sales systems, training, and analytics, this role combines consultative selling, active discovery, and disciplined follow-up to create momentum and confidence as new inventory comes online.

Key Outcomes for This Role

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of ‘not ready yet’ planners and early adopters, converting interest into engaged participation.
Execute a Priority/Reservation approach that supports long-term relationships and commitments.
Support retention through events and consistent communication to keep future residents connected and confident.
Contribute to forecast accuracy by maintaining clean CRM data and stage integrity.

Qualifications

Required:

2+ years of consultative sales experience; senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or services sales preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage a longer sales cycle with future-oriented prospects.
Strong communication skills and comfort engaging adult-child influencers and multi-stakeholder decisions.
Proficiency with CRM systems, phone-based selling, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

Independent Living / Life Plan Community experience.
Experience with waitlists, pre-sales, reservations, or new development/expansion selling.
Comfort supporting events, presentations, and group education as part of lead development.
