Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a PythonX CNC Operator and become a vital part of our precision machining operations! In this role, you will operate advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery, specifically the PythonX system, to produce high-quality metal components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to strict quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals passionate about manufacturing and machining technology to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Set up and operate PythonX CNC machines, ensuring proper calibration and tooling adjustments for each job.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents accurately to produce precise components.
Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and modify programs as needed for different projects.
Conduct dimensional measurements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part accuracy according to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime, including CNC lathe, milling machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and handling materials responsibly.
Perform quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
Operate forklifts and handle materials efficiently within the warehouse or fabrication area when necessary.
Assist with assembly, fabrication, welding, or packaging tasks as required by production schedules.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or PythonX systems in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and CAM programming tools.
Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings with confidence.
Familiarity with shop math, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
Basic understanding of Fanuc controls or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and factory operations.
Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software for design interpretation is a plus.
Ability to operate hand tools, tooling equipment, and perform basic math calculations accurately.
Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments to promote a safe workplace culture.
Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling, packaging, or assembly line work is advantageous.
