Full Job Description

Minimum 2 years of paid caregiving experience required. This is not an entry-level opportunity.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position — not an employee role. You set your own availability, choose your engagements, and are responsible for your own taxes and scheduling. If you are looking for a W-2 job, this is not the right fit.

If you are new to caregiving or looking for your first home care job, this is not the right fit either. We work exclusively with experienced caregivers trusted by families in serious care situations, including hospice.

Atlee Home Care is a Colorado-licensed Home Care Placement Agency that connects skilled, independent caregivers with clients and families needing non-medical home care support. We specialize in hospice support partnerships, senior care, and one-on-one caregiving relationships built on dignity, comfort, and independence.

Flat $21/hour rate — no lower pay for nights, weekends, or holidays
You choose your clients and availability

What You Will Be Doing

Based on client-directed care plans, caregivers in the Atlee network typically provide:

Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Companionship and emotional support
Meal preparation based on client dietary needs
Light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, comfortable home
Observing and reporting changes in client condition to family or care coordinator
Assistance with safe transfers, including Hoyer lifts when needed
Supporting clients living with dementia or Alzheimer's with patience and compassion
Documenting care provided
Supporting clients in hospice care with sensitivity and respect

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 2 years of paid caregiving experience — home care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospice, or disability care
Reliable transportation required
Physically able to assist with daily living activities and safe client transfers
Strong observation skills to recognize changes in client well-being
Compassionate and professional with solid communication skills
Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
Available for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays
Memory care or hospice experience is a strong plus

Atlee does not direct, control, or supervise the manner in which services are performed. Caregivers are responsible for their own qualifications, certifications, insurance, and tax obligations.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 40.0 per week
