Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role is best suited for candidates with experience in drywall, metal framing, restoration, renovation, and/or occupied building environments, with a strong ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing active job sites involving multiple scopes of work, including drywall, metal framing, MEP, restoration, and life safety systems. This individual will play a key role in maintaining project schedules, coordinating field operations, and ensuring high-quality execution in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

This position is not limited to a single project. The selected Superintendent will transition into supporting future construction and development projects, managing on-site operations across a variety of project types.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily on-site operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Coordinate and manage subcontractors across multiple trades and scopes of work
Oversee and coordinate drywall and metal framing work, ensuring installations meet project plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards
Maintain project schedules, sequencing, and workflow across all disciplines
Collaborate closely with Project Managers and restoration coordinators
Coordinate work in occupied environments, minimizing disruption and maintaining professionalism
Assist with inspections, permitting processes, and site logistics
Interface with building management, consultants, inspectors, and stakeholders
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve field issues in real time
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle
Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar supervisory role in construction
Strong experience with drywall and metal framing
Solid understanding of drywall installation, metal stud framing, and related interior construction systems
Experience supervising and coordinating drywall and metal framing crews or subcontractors
Experience in restoration, renovation, or occupied building environments preferred
Strong ability to manage multiple trades and scopes simultaneously
Solid understanding of construction management principles, including scheduling, sequencing, and coordination
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Professional presence on-site and ability to work effectively in active environments

Experience

Drywall and metal framing experience: Required
Construction management: 1 year (Preferred)
