Founded in 2024, Feels like Home Festival is an annual festival celebration of community, music, and delicious barbecue held in the heart of Brownwood, Texas.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the bar area is organized at all times.
- Process credit card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Square POS, efficiently.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about drink menus, and recommend beverage options based on preferences.
- Maintain compliance with responsible alcohol service policies, and cleanliness standards throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to manage bar needs at the event, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Experience
- Previous bartending, barback or cocktail serving experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems Square POS is highly desirable.
- Experience working in high-energy settings like nightclubs or large-scale events such as banquets or catering is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple guests or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, alcohol laws, food safety standards, and retail math for cash handling accuracy.
- Ability to work 8-12hr shift
Pay
Bartender & Barback Compensation
Bartenders: Compensation is tip-based, with a guaranteed minimum of $250 per shift. If earned tips are less than $250, the bartender will receive the difference to ensure a minimum payout of $250.
Barbacks: Compensation is tip-based, with a guaranteed minimum of $300 per shift. If earned tips are less than $300, the barback will receive the difference to ensure a minimum payout of $300.
In short: Bartenders are guaranteed to make at least $250 per shift, and barbacks are guaranteed to make at least $300 per shift, regardless of tip volume.
