Full Job Description

We are seeking a Dietary Aide / Cook to join our team! You will work alongside other medical professionals to provide exceptional care to patients.

Location: Brunswick, GA

Status: Full Time

Shift: Split/Rotating Schedule (4 on 2 off; Two shifts 5:30AM - 2:30PM, Two shifts 12:15PM - 7:30PM)

Dietary Aide Pay Range: $13.00 per hour depending upon experience

Dietary Cook Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour depending upon experience

The Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

Washing dishes, tableware, glasses, and any other kitchen and dining room equipment and assuring they are stored in an orderly fashion;
Assuring work is performed in accordance with all federal, state, and facility regulations regarding sanitation and infection control;
May be required to prepare and serve coffee, tea, juice etc.;
May be required to wash all pots, pans and cooking utensils used to prepare a meal;
Required to assist in cleaning work areas, dining room floor, dining room tables, and dining room chairs after each meal and occasionally after special events, sweep and mop the floor at the end of shift;
May be responsible for between-meal nourishment;
May serve meals to residents in the dining area. May assist with the pouring of the beverages at each meal;
Required to assist in the cleaning of the kitchen equipment, food storage area, and supply areas according to the facility schedule;
Required to remove garbage from the kitchen and to clean trash containers;
Required to perform duties in a swift and orderly fashion in order to accomplish tasks in the allotted time;
Assures personal compliance to all state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety;
Assures personal compliance to resident’s rights;
Follows safety procedures;
Complies with the schedule as established by the Dietary Manager;

The Requirements:

High school diploma;
Valid driver's license with no significant violations;
Must meet all health requirements, including TB and drug screen;
Must pass a criminal background check;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
