In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering safe, precise, and effective radiation therapy while benefiting from a collaborative environment with a dedicated physics team available for support during complex cases, coverage needs, and high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

Perform routine daily, monthly and annual physics duties in a radiation oncology department
Calibrate, maintain, and ensure optimal performance of radiation therapy equipment.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop and implement accurate, patient-specific treatment plans.
Perform routine and advanced quality assurance testing in compliance with national and international standards.
Support research initiatives and contribute to advancements in radiation therapy.
Train and educate clinical staff on radiation physics and safe equipment operation.
Ensure patient safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary care team.
Solve complex clinical and technical challenges with support from the broader physics team when needed.
Maintain physica part of ACR certification, TNM team help in provided.
Stay current with advancements in medical physics and radiation therapy.
Radiation Safety activities

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or related field.
Board certification (or eligibility) by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics or equivalent.
HDR license or eligibility required.
Strong experience with radiation therapy equipment and physics principles.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Commitment to patient safety and high quality care.
